Hashrate placement on FPPS

Connect your ASICs and get a fixed payout for every share, including the average transaction fees, with no pool luck variance. Daily payouts to your own BTC address and a dashboard. Fee, minimum and pool partner on request.

What FPPS means for you

  • FPPS (Full Pay Per Share) pays you for every valid share your ASICs submit: the block subsidy plus the average transaction fees, at a fixed rate per share.
  • No luck variance: you are paid whether or not the pool found a block today. The pool carries the luck risk, not you.
  • Your income still moves with network difficulty, the BTC price, average network fees and your own uptime. FPPS removes luck, not market risk.

Who it is for

ASIC owners

From one machine at home to a container: you want steady daily payouts instead of watching pool luck.

Hosting clients

Your ASICs already run in a data center: change the pool address in the miner settings, nothing else moves.

Small farms and hosting providers

Several sites or sub-accounts for your clients: ask about workers and reporting.

How it works

  1. Leave a request below: hashrate, ASIC models, country. We reply with the current terms (fee, minimum, payout threshold).
  2. You get a stratum address (or a proxy for many machines) and a worker name.
  3. Point your ASICs at it: in the miner's web panel, replace the pool URL and worker. The machines keep running where they are.
  4. You give a BTC address of your own wallet. Payouts go there on the agreed schedule.
  5. Watch hashrate, accepted shares and payouts in your dashboard.

How it works, in plain words

Discuss
  • A miner borrows money today and repays it from the bitcoin the machines will mine. The lender is protected either by the machines themselves (ASIC-backed loan) or by a claim on future output (hashrate-backed loan or forward sale).
  • The loan is fixed in dollars (or BTC), but the income is not: it follows the hashprice, i.e. how much one TH/s earns per day. Hashprice falls when the BTC price falls, when difficulty rises and at every halving.
  • If the hashprice drops far enough, mining no longer covers electricity plus the loan payment. Then the lender asks for more collateral (a margin call), takes the machines, or the borrower defaults. That is exactly what happened to many miners in 2022.
ASIC-backed (equipment) loan

The lender finances machines and holds them as collateral. Repaid monthly in cash. Classic 2021 structure (NYDIG, Galaxy and others), today mostly from manufacturer-linked lenders such as Antalpha for Bitmain machines.

Main risk: ASIC prices fall together with hashprice, so the collateral loses value exactly when the borrower is weakest.

Hashrate-backed loan

The miner pledges a share of its hashrate: coins mined by that hashrate go to the lender (or are sold by it) until the debt is repaid. Example: Sygnum Bank's hashrate-backed loans for carbon-neutral miners (2022, renewed 2023).

Main risk: If hashprice drops, repayment takes longer or more hashrate must be pledged.

Forward hashrate sale (upfront payment)

Not a loan on paper: the miner sells future hashrate at a fixed hashprice and gets the money upfront, then delivers that hashrate to the buyer's pool every day. Luxor's Deliverable Hashrate Forward works like this.

Main risk: You must deliver the hashrate whatever happens: downtime, a curtailment or a broken machine have to be made up, and margin is marked to market daily.

BTC-backed credit line for miners

A miner pledges the bitcoin it already holds instead of machines. Big public miners did this in 2025 (e.g. CleanSpark and Riot with Coinbase, CleanSpark and Hut 8 with Two Prime).

Main risk: A BTC price drop triggers a margin call on the bitcoin collateral and cuts mining income at the same time.

Loan against hashrate: our option

2022: when miner loans went wrong

Discuss

The lesson: in 2021 loans were sized on a high hashprice and secured by machines. In 2022 BTC fell, difficulty kept rising, power got more expensive, ASIC prices collapsed, and the collateral was worth less than the debt.

Timeline: Celsius, Stronghold, Iris Energy, Core Scientific, Greenidge
  1. Jul 2022 · Celsius files for bankruptcy
The lender Celsius Network files Chapter 11 on 13 July 2022. Its mining arm, Celsius Mining, hosted machines at Core Scientific, and the two fought in court over unpaid hosting bills. Reuters
  2. Aug 2022 · Stronghold hands ~26,200 miners back to NYDIG
To wipe out about $67.4 M of equipment debt, Stronghold Digital returns roughly 26,200 machines to the lender NYDIG. SEC 8-K
  3. Nov 2022 · Iris Energy defaults on $108 M of NYDIG equipment loans
The collateralised miners (~3.6 EH/s) earned about $2 M a month in gross profit against about $7 M a month of debt service. Iris switched them off; the loans were limited-recourse, so NYDIG could only take the pledged machines. SEC 6-K
  4. Dec 2022 · Core Scientific files for Chapter 11
The largest US public miner files on 21 December 2022, citing the falling bitcoin price, higher power costs and the Celsius dispute. It kept mining and emerged from bankruptcy in January 2024. Core Scientific
  5. Jan 2023 · Greenidge restructures its NYDIG debt
Greenidge transfers miners worth about 2.8 EH/s to NYDIG, cutting secured debt from about $76 M to $17 M. PR Newswire

Risk checklist before you borrow

Discuss
  • Stress-test: does mining still cover power + payment if hashprice falls 30–50%? Halving cuts it 50% overnight.
  • Know the margin-call rule: at what collateral value or hashprice the lender asks for more, how fast, and in what (BTC, cash, extra machines).
  • Recourse: can the lender take only the pledged machines or also your other assets and bitcoin?
  • Currency mismatch: a dollar loan repaid from BTC income is a bet on the BTC price; a BTC-denominated loan is a bet on difficulty.
  • Delivery obligation (forwards): what happens if your site is curtailed, a machine breaks or the pool goes down?
  • Power contract: is your electricity price fixed for the whole loan term? Most 2022 failures combined falling hashprice with rising power costs.
  • Machine value: ASIC resale prices can halve within months; do not count on selling machines to repay.
  • All costs: arrangement fee, hosting, insurance, custody, pool fee, early repayment penalty.
  • Counterparty: who holds the collateral and the mined coins? Celsius showed that the lender can fail too.

Loans FAQ

Discuss
What is hashprice?

Expected income from 1 TH/s per day (or 1 PH/s), in BTC or USD: block subsidy plus fees, divided by the whole network's hashrate, times the BTC price. Our calculator takes it live from difficulty, fees and price.

Is a hashrate forward a loan?

Legally it is a sale of future hashrate, but economically it works like a loan: money now, repaid with hashrate later. The 'interest' is the discount to the expected hashprice.

What LTV can I get?

It depends on the lender and the collateral. Publicly reported examples: Coinbase Asset Management typically 50–70% on the bitcoin part; Luxor keeps an 18% hashprice margin on forwards. Our own terms are on request.

What is a margin call here?

When the collateral value or the hashprice falls below a level set in the contract, you must add collateral (BTC, cash or more hashrate) within a short time, or the lender may sell or take the collateral.

Can a home miner with one ASIC get such a loan?

Rarely. Public products target farms and companies (Luxor's contract unit is 1 PH/s, about five S21s). Tell us your hashrate in the request and we will say honestly what is possible.

Do you lend yourself?

We accept requests for a loan against hashrate together with FPPS placement. Rate, LTV, term and minimum hashrate are on request and confirmed in writing before anything is signed. Nothing on this page is an offer.

Educational information, not investment or credit advice and not an offer. Borrowing against mining can lose you your machines and collateral.

FAQ

Is my income guaranteed?

No. FPPS fixes the payout per share, but how many shares you produce and what a share is worth depend on your uptime, network difficulty, average fees and the BTC price. Our calculator shows an estimate at today's numbers, not a promise.

What is the fee?

The service fee, minimum hashrate and payout threshold are given on request, so they match your volume. You will see them before you connect anything.

Which pool is behind the service?

We name the pool partner in our reply to your request, together with its payout terms.

Do I need to send you my ASICs?

No. Your machines stay where they are, at home or at your hosting. Only the pool address in the miner settings changes.

Where do payouts go?

To a BTC address of a wallet you control. We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

How is FPPS different from PPS?

PPS pays only the block subsidy per share. FPPS also adds the average transaction fees, so at the same fee rate FPPS pays more when network fees are high.

Can I try with a small hashrate first?

Tell us in the request. The minimum is on request.

What happens to my request?

It goes to the site owner only. We reply to the Telegram or email you left. Ask us any time to delete it.
