Changelog: what changed on 21btc.cc
Real changes that went live, newest first: new pages, data, fixes and speed work, with dates and links. Taken from the project's own history, not written after the fact for show.
RSS (English)RSS (Russian)Also via the MCP server (get_changelog)
The Watch block on the event page now has a second video: ep01, "Bitcoin goes to Lugano" (1 min 2 s), with who opens the forum, Adam Back and Paolo Ardoino, and the number of the day from US spot Bitcoin ETFs. It plays right on the page.
The event page now has a Watch block with our 41-second video: the whole Plan B Forum 2026 on one page, with key talk times in Lugano. It plays right on the page. Also fixed: Russian number forms on the AML check page (for example «532 биткоин-адреса»).
The organiser's Rumble channel, which planb.lugano.ch links to, has scheduled livestreams of the main WAGMI Stage on 23 and 24 October from 09:00 Lugano time. The links are now on the home page card, the event page (Livestream block and FAQ) and our forum preview. We also link the organiser's 20 October post saying Mempool Stage interviews will be streamed; it did not name a platform. Russian source labels in the news now read naturally (for example «пресс-релиз BIT»), and post cards show the update date.
The /aml page now explains what the check does and what a result means, shows an example, lists the steps if a transfer is frozen, and compares other checkers we verified. It is linked from Tools, the wallet page and the KYC vs P2P topic.
Shipped at 07:52 London time on 22 October. Countdowns read 'today', 'tomorrow' and 'in 2 days' instead of 'in 1 days', with proper Russian forms. On /etf the latest-day tile says it is a single day for all funds and flags funds that have not reported yet; the 5-day and 20-day tiles show their dates. Event pages can now show a 'Watch' block with videos about the event. The Trezor Safe 3 row on /wallet links to the Bitcoin-only edition ($59 on the official store). The Tether wiki article gets a sourced background on its bitcoin policy, Lugano's Plan B and its move to El Salvador, and three Plan B Forum speaker bios are longer, with sources.
Shipped at 07:15 London time on 22 October. Pages no longer lock behind a share prompt; the share buttons stay. The beginner home starts with 'Why Bitcoin': $100 in Bitcoin against the S&P 500, gold and the dollar's purchasing power over 1, 4 and 10 years (Bitstamp, Yahoo, BLS). New /start: five steps from why to how not to panic. /wallet gets our picks and a rating table with its criteria. /people/saylor and /people/satoshi are now part of /wiki/michael-saylor and /wiki/satoshi-nakamoto, with redirects. 34 Plan B Week company pages get a sourced background section, 15 speakers get short sourced bios, and wiki descriptions end on a full sentence.
Shipped at 19:30 London time on 21 October. 42 new wiki profiles of Plan B Forum 2026 speakers, from the official speakers page and agenda, with every session in Lugano, London and Moscow time. 41 new wiki articles on Plan B Week Lugano 2026 companies with official links, and a Plan B Week section on 6 existing articles. The event page lists the companies and links speakers to their profiles. Listing a company does not mean any partnership with this site.
Shipped at 19:11 London time on 21 October. The Randi Hipper profile now lives at /wiki/randi-hipper; the old /people/randi-hipper address redirects there.
Shipped at 18:53 London time on 21 October. New creator profile of Randi Hipper (Miss Teen Crypto) with her Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026 sessions, interviews and top episodes, from her own channel and sites. Plan B Forum: the venue is 3 stages and 2 rooms plus 1:1 networking, per the official agenda (it said 4 stages), and Rapha Zagury's keynote title and time are from the official program.
Shipped at 12:11 London time on 21 October. The stylised B-glyph spelling of the word Bitcoin is gone from the whole site: menus, headings, page titles, FAQ, share texts, headlines and data files now say plain 'Bitcoin'. Event names that use the symbol in their official name keep it.
Shipped at 09:04 London time on 21 October. /etf opens with a dated answer under the heading, adds Dataset markup with a flows CSV and three FAQ answers. Each /etf/compare page gets a lead, a 'Which is better for you?' block and a 20-day flows table, and there is a new /etf/compare index. In English, 'Bitcoin pioneers' is now 'Early Bitcoiners' (the /wiki/people address stays). Russian source labels in verified news and one date format on /wallet.
Shipped at 16:12 London time on 20 October. /pools, the 12 pool wiki pages and /shop#pools now read fees, payout schemes, minimum payouts and Stratum V2 status from one dataset, re-checked on the pools' official sites on 20 October. Foundry and Luxor pages say their rate is not published instead of 'Not specified'. Russian F2Pool and AntPool pages add the Cyrillic spellings of both names. Plan B Forum Lugano now names its organiser.
Shipped at 13:48 London time on 20 October. /pools opens with a comparison table: live 7-day hashrate share, payout scheme, fee and minimum payout from the pools' official sites with the check date, Stratum V2 support and the official site, plus how to choose and an FAQ. Each pool's wiki page leads with its live share. The home page and events list highlight Plan B Forum Lugano (23–24 October).
Shipped at 07:58 London time on 20 October. Bitcoin pioneers now have one profile each in the wiki (21 people, /wiki/people); the old museum profile links redirect there. Conference pages follow a before/during/after template, starting with Plan B Forum Lugano 2026: schedule, official speakers, how to follow and livestream FAQ. A Day/Night switch in the header adds a light theme. Plus copy fixes across /wallet, the home page, the blog and this changelog.
The exchange-reserves table updated at 02:18 London time on 19 October with Newhedge's first new data since 16 October: about 3,677,751 BTC in exchange wallets, +1,832 BTC over 24 hours.

Light theme: 15-minute live test, then rolled back
An Apple-style light theme (light background, white cards, a Light/Dark switch in the top bar) was live on the site from 18:04 to 18:21 London time on 18 October for a test, then rolled back to the previous release. It is not on the site now; it will ship only after review.
Scheduled refreshes on 18 October (London time): the Strategy page at 09:03 (no new purchases, 848,250 BTC), ETF flows, holders and on-chain data at 13:40 (US spot ETFs −$82.4M on 16 October, mostly IBIT), exchange reserves at 14:15.
A read-only Model Context Protocol server (Streamable HTTP) over the public /api/v1 and other site data: price, ETF flows, risk, volatility, holders, fees and network stats, derivatives, glossary and site search, events and this changelog. Server card and discovery document included, 60 requests per minute per IP, no keys, no write tools.
New page /derivatives: BTC perpetual open interest and funding rate on Binance, Bybit, OKX and Deribit from their public keyless APIs, a 30-day history, and recent liquidations on OKX. Every block shows its source and as-of time (London). Where no free source exists (an all-exchange liquidation total), the page says so instead of estimating.
This page: dated, real shipped changes with links, a JSON-LD list and an RSS feed at /changelog/rss.xml.
All 25 upcoming events on /events now carry schema.org offers with the official ticket or registration URL and availability. Free events (Run For Hal, Bitcoin Red Team) are priced at 0; a price is published only where the official page shows one, otherwise the offer has a URL and availability but no price.
The bare /learn/video address (404 before) permanently redirects (308) to the video hall /videos, which now also lists all explainer videos with Russian descriptions, links to their transcripts and the YouTube source.
/bitcoin-regulation: 74 sourced records, a summary table of 30 jurisdictions and a detailed United States section (federal acts, executive orders, SEC/CFTC/IRS/FinCEN/OFAC and states). Only publish-ready, sourced records are shown.
